Application Situation:

Uneven laundry floor of hospital



The laundry floor of this hospital was not level and water was gathering in the middle of the floor. They needed the floor to be re-levelled so that water ran to the drains. The floor also had to be safe from accidents.



Belzona® 4131 (Magma-Screed)
Belzona® 5231 (SG Laminate)





Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-1. Existing floor was cut out to create a fall and then screeded over with Belzona® 4131. This was then overcoated with Belzona® 5231.


Belzona Facts:

The use of Belzona® 4131 allowed falls to be created with minimum disruption to hospital operations. the Belzona® 5231 provided a safe surface for operatives in the laundry. The hospital are now currently looking at improving the safety throughout the building utilising Belzona solutions.
