Belzona® 2211 (MP Hi-Build Elastomer) | | | Substrate:Steel, Concrete | | | Application Method:Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets TCC-1, TCC-5 & TCC-9. After surface preparation, Belzona® 1111 was used to bond reinforcement steel sheets to areas affected by pitting corrosion. Belzona® 4111 was used to repair damaged areas on the concrete tank base. The entire collection tank was coated with Belzona® 5811 applying two coats by airless spray. Lastly, an elastomeric fillet was created by applying Belzona® 2211 where steel walls joined onto the concrete base. | | | Belzona Facts:Three years earlier, a test coating had been done with Belzona® 5811.
