Problem: Water was trapped under the tile, causing the tile to break up and providing a haven for bacteria and mold. Pushing the carts over rough, broken, and missing tile posed a serious safety hazard as well.

Application Situation
Wash area floor for aircraft food service carts
Application Method
Old concrete was removed and 1 1/2" voids were left in several areas. Belzona® 4131 (Magma Screed) was applied over the areas where the minimum depth was 3/8". The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How Leaflet FPA-1.
Belzona Facts
The application covered a 72 square foot area and took only two hours to complete. The wash area is now a safer and cleaner place to work.
