Problem:

Stairs were spalled and deteriorated and required a non-slip safety surface.

Belzona® 5111 (Ceramic Cladding)

Belzona® 9221 (Surefoot Aggregate White)

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How Leaflets FPA-1 and FPA-8.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

The application of several Belzona products provided a safe and aesthetically pleasing stairwell, suitable for Navy V.I.P.'s.

 
 

Photographs Description

  1. Steps resurfaced with Belzona® 4131 (Magma Screed).  
  2. Belzona® 5111 (Ceramic Cladding) applied for aesthetic reasons, and Belzona® 1341 (Supermetalglide) grip system applied primarily for safety reasons.  
  3. At the foot of the stairs, the non-slip Navy logo was created with a stencil.
