Belzona® 1811 (Ceramic Carbide)

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-14. The equipment was grit-blasted, degreased, then the eroded areas covered with 40kg of Belzona® 1811.

Belzona Facts:

The client spent around €10,000 for the application. Compared to the €50,000 that a new auger screw would have cost. This was a considerable saving – even more so considering that the client would normally have had to buy a new auger screw every year, which they avoided thanks to the Belzona repair. As a result so far the client has been able to save around €300,000 over the last 6 years.
