Problem: Cavitation and general erosion-corrosion damage had reduced the pumps efficiency to unacceptable levels. The plant has a limited power supply and was looking for all ways to reduce demand.

Application Situation
1.5 meter diameter suction split casing pump handling a 20 meter head of sea water.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-2, CEP-3, CEP-5, and CEP-10.
Belzona Facts
Belzona® 1341 not only restored the original efficiency, but provided reduced power demand. This was more important to the plant than cost because of the lack of power available.
