Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with an adapted version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-11. After grit blasting, the nuts and bolts were encapsulated with Belzona® 1111 before Belzona® 1391 was applied by brush, incorporating Reinforcement Tape, to completely seal the circumference of the flange joint.

Belzona Facts

The application was completed in two days and has created a heat resistant seal without having to dismantle the flange. This ensured minimal disruption to production.
