Problem: This lumber decker keyway takes a tremendous beating because of cyclic loading. Because of the start-stop characteristics, the keyway housing became oversized.

Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet MPT-4.This repair was done in place without disassembly using a Belzona forming technique.

Conventional repairs would entail extended downtime because it would require the shaft assembly to be dismantled. Otherwise a new key housing could be cut, or the existing damage welded and remachined.
