Planetary gear spline for mandril mill manufacturing pipe.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet MPT-5. Belzona® 9411 (Release Agent) was applied to the socket and Belzona® 1111 (Super Metal) was applied to both the socket and spline before mating the two pieces.
Belzona Facts
The spline was in perfect condition 5 years later when the mill finally decided to replace the spline coupling.
