Application Situation:

Underground concrete water storage tank.

 
 

Problem:

Cracks in the roof of the storage tank were allowing the ingress of surface water and contaminating the potable water contained in the reservoir. This leads to unacceptably high levels of nitrate, phosphate and miscellaneous contaminants in the tank.

Belzona® 4111 (Magma Quartz)

Belzona® 3121 (MR7)

Belzona® 4151 (Magma Quartz Resins)

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-1.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Butyl rubber sheeting bonded with bitumen had been ineffective in sealing the roof.
