The surface was prepared removing the previous mastic products. Then, the ebonite was roughened using a grinder and the whole application area was grit blasted to ensure a minimum 75 micron surface profile on the exposed steel before rebuilding all damaged areas with the Belzona® 4301. | | | Belzona Facts:This application was carried out in-situ, repairing the ebonite lining without the requirement of a vulcanization process, and minimising downtime and disruptions to the client facilities and operations. | | | Photographs Description
