Application Situation
110’ Island Class Patrol boat rudder and stabilizer.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets SOS-1 and SOS-2.
Belzona Facts
All the stabilizer work was done in place. Two coats of Belzona ® 1341 (Supermetalglide) were applied and allowed to sufficiently cure. A small crane was then brought in and the equipment was then installed. Belzona ® 1341 (Supermetalglide) works well as long as the crew follows a regular cleaning procedure by periodically removing marine growth.
