Problem: A six foot diameter exhaust fan is used in case of a fire to evacuate smoke from the burning building. The corroded metal shroud developed holes. Rainwater entered through the holes and caused water damage to the inside of the building.

The application was carried out in accordance with a Belzona Know-How System Leaflets FBC-2 and FBC-4.

The cost of a new stainless steel shroud was $9,600.The existing shroud was salvaged with approximately $600 in products. Including blasting, the customer saved over $7,000.
