Application Situation:

A coated foam roof. Its construction features silicone areas as well as a tar/fine gravel coating.



Sun, heat and age led to the roof coating becoming cracked and blistered in areas,allowing water to leak into the building.

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets RPA-1 and RPA-8.


Belzona Facts:

Before proceeding with the application a test patch was done to a small leak over the general manager’s office. The surface was roughened,Belzona® 3921 applied and a two-coat, fully reinforced Belzona® 3111 (Flexible Membrane) system installed. After three rainfalls and two months with no leaks,approval was given to address 500 square feet of problem areas. The coated areas of the roof are perfect.
