Belzona® Provides Solution To Leaking Hospital Roof

Application Situation:

Felt roof over physiotherapy facility within the hospital.



The felt roofing system had become porous over time and was allowing water into the building below. This was causing major disruption to the operation of the hosiptal as well as posing a health & safety risk.

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-8. The entire roof was thoroughly cleaned to remove moss and lichens before applying a fully reinforced Belzona® 3131 System.


Belzona Facts:

The Belzona solution was selected due to its ability to be applied in low temperatures. The client was looking for a cost effective solution which would cause no disruption to the operation of the hospital and without the need for hot works to be carried out.
