Application Situation:

Two 48” cooling water circulating pumps

Problem:

The pumps, each weighing over eleven tonnes without the motor, were failing to deliver sufficient flow to satisfy customer demand.

Belzona® 1341 (Supermetalglide)

Belzona® 5811 (Immersion Grade)

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-1, 3, 4 & 5.

Belzona Facts:

After refurbishment, the pumps were returned to the power station, where they were installed, aligned and commissioned. Both pumps were returned to service within an eight week period and within budget. The customer has expressed his great satisfaction with the service provided and is already reaping the benefits of the newly coated pumps.
