Application Situation:

Exterior coating of 1000-barrel crude oil storage tank.



Due to the tank farm’s proximity to the coast, a host of components, including abrasion from the sand, salt air, contamination from residual sour gas and other chemical components, contributed to the accelerated erosion/corrosion of the exterior of the storage tank.

Modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5.


Belzona Facts:

The Belzona coating system allowed for the protection of the tank, thereby providing the needed abrasion and chemical resistance.
