Application Situation:

Extraction outlets on roof over production area.

Problem:

The effect of weather and UV caused rubber seals around ductwork penetrations to degrade allowing rainwater to leak directly into the production area creating disruption in production and safety issues.

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-1 and 6. The joints were resealed with Belzona Elastomer, before applying a fully reinforced Belzona® 3111 Flexible Membrane system.

Belzona Facts:

Belzona system was applied in 2 days without disrupting production, giving a long term water and weather resistant solution.
