Application Situation:

A newly fabricated amine stripper column. Belzona lining specified by oil & gas client.

Problem:

column will be exposed to temperatures up to 93°C, and potential for high corrosion rates due to presence of Hydrogen Sulphide, Carbon Dioxide and Amine.

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System leaflet TCC-5 and following a specific working specification prepared for the vessel.

Belzona Facts:

If no coating was used then the vessel would have been suffering from corrosion within the first few weeks in service. Belzona 1391T provides corrosion protection in such a hot corrosive environment.
