Belzona Provides Alternative Solution To Basalt Lining

Application Situation:

Pipe bend within the gas cleaning plant at the steelworks.

Problem:

Basalt lining was not giving smooth surface as well as adding excessive weight to the Stainless steel elbow.

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona system Leaflet SHM-7. Belzona® 9811 alumina tiles were bonded to MBX Bristle Blaster prepared substrate using Belzona® 1161 and the grouted using Belzona® 1813.

Belzona Facts:

Alternative Solution of Basalt Lining  was slow and difficult to apply. It also added significant excess weight to the elbow.
