Dish Washing Room - Safer With Belzona® System

Extended Care Facility - British Columbia, Canada.

Application Situation:

Safety system required in care centre dishwashing room. Total area completed approximately 700 sqare feet.



Hospital dish washing area and store room were a constant safety problem because of wet floors. It was determined that the prevention of a single compensation claim would be more than sufficient to justify the cost of the complete application.



Belzona® 1321 (Ceramic S-Metal)



Light beige seamless epoxy type non-slip flooring material. Despite its surface roughness floor extremely slippery when wet.


Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-8.


Belzona Facts:

This application came about as a result of the success of other Belzona Non-Slip Safety applications completed within the same organization over the past 10 years. All are still in service with no maintenance required over this time period.
