Problem: Corrosion of the equipment caused by failure of the existing lining system required complete removal of the coating.

Application Method
Following grit blasting, stripe coating was completed using Belzona® 1391 for all nozzles, welds and brackets. Following reblasting Belzona® 1521 was applied using heated airless spray.
Belzona Facts
The use of Belzona® 1521 allows applications to be carried out at low temperatures offering a rapid application and return to service time for process vessels operating at elevated temperature. Belzona® 1522 (HTS2 Metal) could have been used for this application. Its designed for plural airless spray application.
