Application Situation:

School boarding house roof with complex geometry.

Problem:

Severe water ingress was occurring in various areas but were not obvious due to the poor condition of the substrate. The complex geometry and multiple substrates on the roof made traditional refurbishment solutions not viable options. At same time the client required insulation value of the roof to be increased.

Belzona 3131 (WG Membrane)

Substrate:

new felt backed insulation boards

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Systems leaflet RPA-8 after installation of new felt back insulation boards.

Belzona Facts:

Belzona 3131 bonds to all of the substrates (Tile, Wood, Glass, Stone & Bitumen) and follows the complex geometry allowing the Belzona solution to be completed over two weeks and the results were a complete success.
