Problem: Both road areas needed a chemical lining that would be resistant to repeated splashes and spills. In addition, the areas had to have good traction for the lorries that regularly visited the plant.

Application Situation
two separate tanker offloading zones for Sodium hypochlorite and Phosphoric acid.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflets FPA-1,3, 4 and 6. Concrete repairs were made with Belzona 4131. Areas were coated with either Belzona 5811 against Sodium Hypochlorite or Belzona 4311 against Phosphoric Acid, Belzona 9211 was scattered in the final coat for traction. Expansion joints were filled with Belzona 2111. Finally Belzona 5231 in yellow was used as a demarcation colour on edges and ramps.

The application was completed on time and within budget and the client has since repeated similar applications at a further 3 sites.
