1 & 2. Some of the damaged lintels and sills before application 3 & 4. Completed repairs

Application Situation
School exposed to local marine environment. A number of concrete lintels and sills, particularly those over-looking the playground and exposed to the prevailing winds and sea spray were in need of urgent refurbishment.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet WPA-4. Areas were hammer tested to detect early signs of spalling and all loose concrete hacked off to leave solid substrate. Exposed rebar was abraded back to bright metal before building back to original profile with the Belzona 4141 system.
Belzona Facts
The excellent non-slump characteristics allowed the rebuilding to be done quickly without the need for fixed shuttering. Cementitious repairs or replacement could not have been completed in the available time and would have led to un-necessary disruption to the school.
