Belzona® Repairs New Floating Hose Section Damaged In Transit

Damaged floating hose section

 
 

Problem:

Hose had been damaged in transit as a result of its fastenings coming loose. The hose had rubbed against its container frame.

 
 

Products:

Belzona 2211 (MP Hi-Build Elastomer)

 

Substrate:

Rubber

 
 

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet SOS-12. The surface of the hose was roughened prior to application of Belzona 2911 (QD Conditioner) followed by a reinforced system of Belzona 2211 to the damaged areas.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

The application was completed at a fraction of the cost of a replacement hose and has proved to be successful for 2 years.
