Problem: The pipes had worn thin through constant abrasion from the ash. Although not leaking, plant needed to extend life of the pipes before they failed.

Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-8. Metal patches were bonded in places where pipes were known to have worn thin.
Belzona Facts
Welding had been used on small leaks but Belzona® 1811 had proven more effective both in time for application and overall abrasion resistance. Clients confidence from previous applications with Belzona® 1811 led to it being used on these pipes.
