Problem: Severe corrosion caused paint delamination on top of exposed reclaim tank walls.

Application Situation

Lime slurry reclaim tank. Client needed a long-term repair to an unusual corrosion problem.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona® Know-How System Leaflet RPA-10.

Belzona Facts

Belzona 3111 (Flexible Membrane)has been successfully used in other parts of plant. Repeated painting and repainting did not provide long term relief. Areas was grit blasted to remove old paint and other products which had failed.
