Problem: The floor was suffering from heavy wear in localised areas due to the heavy forklift truck traffic present on the site. This had caused damage to numerous areas of the concrete with a loss of depth in some areas of up to 10mm.

Application Situation
About 28m² of concrete floor in textile plant exposed to regular forklift truck traffic.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-1. A mechanical plane and cutter were used to remove the concrete substrate in the designated areas down to a minimum depth of 6mm before it was conditioned with Belzona 4911. The surface was then rebuilt with Belzona 4111 finishing flush with the surrounding areas.
Belzona Facts
Belzona was able to carry out the application over the course of a weekend, allowing the facility to be back in service for 6:30am Monday morning. The repair procedure ensured a smooth transition between original floor areas and the repair.
