Application Situation:

Repair of the ring strip during an emergency stop.



The worn-out strip prevented the crusher from functioning well.



Belzona 1111 (Super Metal)

Belzona 9411 (Release Agent)





Application Method:

First, the surface was prepared with emery cloth. Afterwards, Belzona 9411 was applied to the surface of the crusher in order to later apply Belzona 1111 to the worn-out ring and join the pieces together to mold Belzona 1111 between the two pieces.


Belzona Facts:

The mine did not have another ring to replace the damaged one and was not able to stop the operations. The application of Belzona 1111 and Belzona 9411 solved the problem and enabled the crusher to continue working until the new ring arrived.
