Application Situation
The client required a coating for the pump to protect it from acid spillage and prevent corrosion.
Application Method
The pump was blasted to white metal to eliminate the acid contained in the substrate. Then, two coats of Belzona 4311 were applied to the external part of the pump.
Belzona Facts
The client was able to extend the operating time of the pump with the application of the Belzona 4311.  Additionally, the cost to protect the pump was lower than the cost of replacement. As a result, the client requested for all the pumps to be coated.
