Belzona® Repairs The Grip Of A Conveyor Pulley

Application Situation:

Grip of a conveyor belt to prevent slippage.

 
 

Problem:

Due to moisture problems, the conveyor belt slipped from the pulley, burning the coating, which led to loss of grip.

Belzona 1321 (Ceramic S-Metal)

Belzona 9211 (Supergrip Aggregate)

 

Substrate:

Rubber

 
 

Application Method:

The areas where the application was to take place had been marked in a chevron pattern. To achieve this, a gummed paper was used and then the surface was prepared, in order to obtain the highest roughness possible to start application of Belzona 1321 and Belzona 9211 products. Application carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-12.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Emergency problem was solved without stopping the machine for maintenance, as requested by management. The repair was completed in maximum four hours.
