Problem:

The original rubber lagging was no longer effective and customer opted for Belzona because it could be done in the maintenance shop over the weekend.

Belzona 9211 (Supergrip Aggregate)

Application carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-12

 
 

Belzona Facts:

The Belzona product is applied directly to the steel roll. It also provides a far higher degree of positive traction increasing belt life by reducing slippage.

 
 

Photographs Description

  1. The original lagging has been removed and the steel surface ground to provide a rough profile onto which the Belzona product is applied
  2. Completed application. In this instance a chevron type pattern was employed to ensure that rain water (Outside application) would be swept to the outer circumferences of the roll.
