Belzona® 1812 Protects Fan From Erosion

Application Situation:

Eroded fan blades

 
 

Problem:

Hot, moist air (110˚C) carrying entrained dust was swirling behind and destroying the backs of the fan blades, eating away both the parent metal and the thick washers welded in place to help control the problem.

Application carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FBC-1

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Belzona 1812 was used to fill in eroded areas, fair in transitions to help prevent the swirl of entrained air from eroding away the parent metal of the fan.
