Belzona 1111 (Super Metal)

Problem: Upgrading cell phone antennas to accommodate a network upgrade. Water district would not allow any heat producing methods due to a tank liner. If the tank liner gets melted or is punctured, the cost to fix it is very high, including hiring divers to assess and fix it.

Application Situation
Cell phone antennas.
Application Method
Surface preparation on the plates was done with a grinder and the tank was done with MBX Bristle Blaster. After application, the plates were held in place using 80lb. magnets placed underneath, and 'Gorilla' tape across the top until the Belzona 1111 had cured.
Belzona Facts
Using 1kg of Belzona 1111 to mount each 4' X 12" plate is very cost effective when considering both the value of the antennas being mounted on them, and the strength of the Belzona 1111. Being a cold curing product, it is as if it was designed for such applications.
