Belzona® Saves Time And Reduces Costs With Bushing Repair

Application Situation:

Loader arm bush housing.

 
 

Problem:

The loader arm bush housing was worn oversize. Welding and boring would require removing the arm.

Belzona 1111 (Super Metal)

Belzona 9411 (Release Agent)

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet MPT-7. The new bushing had a grease groove around the outside. Candle wax was melted to fill the groove. After Belzona 1111 cured, a torch was used to melt the wax and a grease gun pumped in grease, pushing the melted wax out.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Less than $20 of Belzona products were used and the housing was rebuilt in less time than it would have taken to remove the loader arm.
