Belzona® Repairs Rubber Track

Application Situation:

The rubber track was cut open, exposing the fabric.

 
 

Problem:

The exposed fabric will wick in water and rot, causing the track to weaken and require replacement.

 
 

Products:

Belzona 2111 (D & A Hi-Build Elastomer)

 

Substrate:

Rubber

 
 

Application Method:

The cut on the track was positioned so the cut was open. The rubber was roughened and Belzona 2111 was applied in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-15.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Protecting the fabric has extended the life of the track, saving thousands of dollars and avoiding replacement.
