Belzona® Repairs Cracked Engine Block

Application Situation:

Cracked casing leaks antifreeze.

 
 

Problem:

An early freeze allowed ice to crack the engine casing.

Belzona 1111 (Super Metal)

Belzona 9341 (Reinforcing Sheet)

 

Substrate:

Cast Iron

 
 

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet ENC-1. The area was ground, studs placed every 2 inches and then covered with Belzona 1111 and Belzona 9341.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

The engine ran strong. The leaking antifreeze was the only thing stopping them from using the loader. Replacing the engine was the only alternative.
