Application Situation:

Impeller from effluent sewage pump.



Impeller had moved on its shaft causing it to run against the casing. This resulted in severe abrasive wear and mechanical damage.



Belzona® 1111 (Super-Metal)

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-1 and CEP-3.


Belzona Facts:

Previously, impellers in this condition were not considered repairable resulting in delivery lead times to source a new part as well as the associated replacement costs. The repair using Belzona meant the part could be returned to service within 48 hours.
