Access hatch to underground vault.

 
 

Problem:

Mid-pump station close to residential housing created excessive H2S gas smell and was a concern to local residents.

Belzona 3121 (MR7)

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-15 for sealing and protecting containment areas. The area was ground using a grinder to prepare the surface. Belzona 3121 was applied using a brush as a two coat system in accordance with Belzona Instructions For Use.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Hatches were sealed to prevent the smell of gas escaping. The waterproof coating will remain flexible and handle both summer and winter weather conditions. Belzona 3121 is a two-component emergency repair and weatherproofing system for the sealing of all types of roof surfaces. This fluid grade material is designed for instant waterproofing and can be applied under most year-round weather conditions.
