Application Situation
Dresser coupling out of service because it would not seal properly.  
Application Method
The area of concern was identified and ground to bare metal with a rough finish. The flat area was then rebuilt with Belzona 1111. The proper contour was verified by using a suitable template. 
Belzona Facts
Belzona provided the quickest alternative as the interior coating could not suffer any damage. Thus, the Belzona repair was ideal for the customer. The alternative method of welding was ruled out as the heat would have damaged the pipe's interior paint system. Belzona 1111 will provide many years of proven in-service protection without the expense of component replacement.
