Problem: Diesel spilled on the concrete floor was causing slip problems. The diesel had been soaking into the concrete for over 10 years and nothing would stick to the surface.

Application Situation
Fuel bay floor at bus depot.
Application Method
The floor was pressure washed to remove the remainder of previous non-skid products and the spilled diesel fuel. A propane torch was used to lightly heat the concrete, drawing out more diesel fuel from the concrete. The floor was pressure washed a second time. A stone floor grinder was used to remove the surface laitance then Belzona 4411 was brushed on, sprinkling aggregate on top. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-8.
Belzona Facts
This was a "test patch" as the owner had seen every product he could find fail within weeks of the applications. One year later, Belzona 4411 was in perfect condition. The entire fuel bay floor was then coated with Belzona 4411.
