Chair leg.
Application Method
The loose wood was removed. Pieces of mixing board were used to form the sides. Mouldable wood was used to fill the damage and the caster shank was roughened with emery paper and pushed into place. The twenty minute cure time meant we could quickly move on to the next chair leg repair. The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-11.
Belzona Facts
The hotel had the same type of chairs and didn't want to loose this one. A local woodshop was replacing the damaged legs at a cost of $75.00. However, the maintenance staff could now do the job in less than 20 minutes for about $10.00 with Belzona 8111. Twenty minutes after repairing the first leg, the hotel manager tried to beat out the repair with a ball peen hammer. He decided it was a perfect repair.
