Belzona 9411 (Release Agent) | | | Substrate:Steel | | | Application Method:The chipper disc pockets were sweated and grit blasted in place. Belzona 9411 was brushed onto the new counter knives. The counter knives were installed and Belzona 1811 was applied in the pockets. After a partial cure, water mixed with dish soap was used to smooth the surface so the wood chips would not clog the pockets. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-13. | | | Belzona Facts:Removing the disc to be sent out for welding, machining and stress relieving would cost $30,000.00 or more.
