Application Situation
Property Management Company/Owner was looking for a cost-effective solution to seal several old, leaking roofs for his property in order to buy time for budgeting for a complete overhaul.
Application Method
The rock ballast was moved to expose all joints, seams, penetrations, parapets and patches. These known problem areas then received the fully reinforced Belzona 3111 system remediation. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-1.
Belzona Facts
Previous patching had proven ineffective and the roofing consultant declared the roof beyond its usable life and called for a complete replacement. Treating just the problem areas alleviated all of the leaks at a substantial savings over tear-off and replacement. The tax implications for this “maintenance” procedure proved just as beneficial.
