Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz) | | | Substrate:Metal and asphalt | | | Application Method:The flashing was re-secured to the asphalt with mechanical fasteners. Two coats of Belzona 3121 was then applied a few inches above the flashing and down onto the asphalt. Also, a small berm was fabricated with Belzona 4111 to divert run-off water away from the door. | | | Belzona Facts:Belzona was chosen as the solution to this problem as it could be accomplished in the harsh winter weather conditions with no disruption to the airport operations.
