Damaged outer wall flashing of an airplane hangar.
Application Method
The flashing was re-secured to the asphalt with mechanical fasteners. Two coats of Belzona 3121 was then applied a few inches above the flashing and down onto the asphalt. Also, a small berm was fabricated with Belzona 4111 to divert run-off water away from the door.
Belzona Facts
Belzona was chosen as the solution to this problem as it could be accomplished in the harsh winter weather conditions with no disruption to the airport operations. This repair was easily completed in one day with the hangar never being out of service.
