Problem:

Customer looking for a proven coating to protect the life of their ash slurry tank. The tank receives solids in slurry at elevated temperatures from plant incinerator. Abrasion is noted problem with this component

Belzona 1321 (Ceramic S Metal)

 

Substrate:

Blast cleaned carbon steel

 
 

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-3. Two heavy coats of Belzona 1321 were hand troweled and brushed onto all interior surfaces of tank and agitator.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Customer was aware of Belzona's reputation for quality coatings and did not want interruption or the need to re-coat prematurely
