Steel

Application Method:

In this case of emergency, an internal repair has been carries out first with Belzona 1121 in accordance with Belzona Know-How system leaflet VPF-1. Then a plate has been bonded on the through wall defect using the system leaflet VPF-11. To finish the repair, a reinforced wrap has been applied with Belzona 1121 and Belzona 9341. As the customer wanted a compliant repair, a Belzona SuperWrap system was designed and applied atop.

Belzona Facts:

Due to the situation of the pipe and the explosive environment, Belzona products permitted a cold repair and a quick return to service which saved a substantial amount of money.
