Problem: Chemicals had penetrated through the tiled surface leading to rapid degradation of the underlying concrete.

Application Situation
Tile floor damaged by chemicals including acids and alkalis.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System leaflets FPA-1, 2 & 3. After removing existing tiles the underlying concrete was rebuilt before re-bonding and grouting acid resistant tiles.

The repair was carried out in accordance with clients requirements. Belzona materials allowed completing the application without taking the equipment offline, hence minimizing associated maintenance costs
