Application Method
The customer decided in 2011 to replace the failing glassflake lining entirely with Belzona 1321. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-3. Following surface preparation to the required standards, all internal surfaces were lined with three coats of Belzona 1321 for additional erosion protection. Following lining, the application was thoroughly inspected prior to return to service.
Belzona Facts
Following repeated failure and disbondment of the original glassflake lining, the customer sought an alternative lining and selected Belzona 1321 based on its superior erosion resistance and performance in immersion.
